Anthony Cribb is TRAC Partners founding director and has more than 25 years’ experience in the Australasian energy, resources and infrastructure industries, having worked in all aspects of the value chains of these industries – upstream, midstream and downstream sectors.

In addition to being a qualified lawyer Anthony has more than 20 years’ experience as a seniorexecutive in large national and international businesses running nationally significant infrastructure in the energy, maritime and resources sectors. He is recognised by industry peers, government agencies and teams as an engaging leader with high integrity and a commitment to collaboration to develop and achieve the organisation’s strategic goals.
Anthony’s key areas of expertise extend to:
- having a deep understanding of the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, the supply and demand dynamics and participants in these markets;
- having an extensive understanding of government policy development and decision making from both the perspective of government and industry;
- developing strategic plans;
- successfully led several transformational projects:
- restructured the operating model and organisational structure of a gas pipeline business three times over a 12-year period.
- led response to COVID-19 pandemic, including developing a pandemic plan, BCP and interstate border movements of key personnel.
- established ringfenced businesses for large infrastructure organisations.
- negotiating gas procurement, storage and pipeline capacity contracts;
- designing and implementing nationally recognised stakeholder engagement frameworks that have involved engagement with community, consumers, government, regulators and industry;
- having a detailed knowledge of statutory approvals requirements for large infrastructure developments covering environmental, heritage, planning, land tenure and safety frameworks;
- able to quickly develop effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholder groups including Executive and Board members, community members, landholders, consumers, government (at federal, state and local levels), regulators and industry;
- securing approvals and debt and equity funding for a variety of energy construction projects;
- representing businesses and the industry in reforms to energy market regulation and the development of greenhouse and carbon markets;
- developing and implementing systems and processes that adapt to the regulatory and market reforms in the gas and electricity markets;
- developing and maintaining corporate and operation risk management frameworks relating to enterprise wide risks, occupational health and safety and contractual and statutory compliance.
- having led the development and implementation of a range of governance, ringfenced and risk management frameworks.
- Extensive experience in ensuring organisations meet their regulatory responsibilities and managing change to systems, processes and culture to address new or changed laws.
